Former Emir of Kano

Mal Aminu Ado Bayero(Listen^ⓘ), CFR (born 21 August ) is the Former Emir of Kano having served as the 15th Fulani Emir of Kano from the FulaniSullubawa clan.^[1] He ascended the throne on 9 March , following the deposition of his nephew Muhammad Sanusi II by GovernorDr.

Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.^[2] He was deposed as emir in after the Emirates law that had divided Kano into five Emirates was repealed.

Family

Aminu Ado Bayero was born on August 21, His father, Ado Bayero, was the Emir of Kano from to ^[5] and the longest serving emir in the history of Kano. He is the second eldest son to the late emir.
